Blooms
With A View
Discover remarkable neighborhood gardens, imaginative landscapes, and the people whose creativity brings them to life.
Rooted in History. Blooming Into the Future.
The year 2028 presents an extraordinary opportunity for the Inspired Garden Artistry's (IGA) Blooms with a View Garden Tour to celebrate the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. As the city prepares to welcome the world for the 2028 Summer Games, IGA plans to celebrate the rich history and cultural heritage of the Baldwin Hills area, including its connection to the historic 1932 Olympic Village.
IGA's 2028 Garden Tour will highlight the beauty and character of our neighborhoods while honoring their remarkable place in Los Angeles history.
Then: Our History
Aerial view of the Olympic village built for the 1932 Los Angeles Games. The western end of West Vernon Ave, and west of Crenshaw Blvd, what is now known as View-Park-Windsor Hills.
Now: Our Community
The neighborhood is celebrated for its sloping hillside streets, mature palm trees and remains a prominent, high-income community in Los Angeles, preserving historic mid-century and Spanish-style architecture.
