COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The Blooms With A View Spring Garden Tour is the longest running community event in View Park-Windsor Hills. Our biennial garden tour inspires community fellowship and promotes hospitality to our neighboring communities. A portion of the funds raised from the garden tour are earmarked for donations in the community. Such as programs focused on health and wellness as well as beautification events at local schools, senior centers and neighborhood clean ups.
Funds raised from our garden tour continue to pay it forward and enhance the community. Our community involvement extends to off year events in the form of direct donations to local groups, health & wellness events and beautification projects. Beautification projects take place in public community spaces, school gardens and neighborhood curb appeal endeavors. All ages and ethnic groups are involved.
GIVING TOGETHER
This year we are proud to support the following non-profits:
01
The Crenshaw Family YMCA has been a sanctuary of hope, growth, and togetherness for over 40 years. For many of us, it has been more than a neighborhood center it has been a second home. It’s where nurturing cognitive physical growth, social, and emotional skills were developed to prepare them for school and life. Where lifelong friendships were formed on the basketball court, and where values were nurtured that carried us into adulthood. The memories built within these walls live in our hearts forever.
02
The mission of Mike Check Yur Colon (MCYC) is to provide free screening colonoscopies and polyp removal for people ages 21 to 45. MCYC is a registered 501(c)(3) that was established in 2025 to eliminate the financial barriers for anyone in this age group seeking preventative Early Onset Colorectal Cancer screening.
Early Onset Colorectal Cancer (EOCRC) is on the rise worldwide. There are 140,000,000 people in the United States alone between the ages of 18-45. These are the most productive years of life in our society.
